A loan of $250 helped to purchase tomatoes and to build a stall to sell his crops.

Mohamed's story

Mohamed, a resident of Malindi, Kenya, is a married father of two children. He has run a farming business for over ten years, providing food to local residents. Mohamed farms and sells tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, etc. Despite the effect of unpredictable seasons, mainly with limited rainfall, Mohamed still hopes to be a leading producer of farm items for the surrounding people.

Mohamed learned of Milango from his friends and is applying for a loan of 21,100 Kenya shillings to purchase tomatoes and to build a stall to sell his food crops. Mohamed believes the additional income from this loan will help him plan for his future family.
