Maria Teresa's story

Maria is 59, she is originally from Masaya, but lives in Managua, she is a single mother of a 23-year-old son, who is in university studying marketing. She works as a seamstress. She began working for a company, but later on where she was left with no job, she started to study tailoring to work in the business as a tailor, that's when she decided to start her own business; she's had this business for more than 20 years, her son helps her in the business.

She is requesting a loan to buy fabric, thread, elastics, buttons, zippers; all the materials needed to tailor the items her clients request, she considers the loan would help her a lot to increase sales and obtain more profit, her future plans are to buy a commercial space that will provide better conditions to have her tailoring shop and teach.
