Abenawa is married and has four children. In Elmina, she sells fruit and maize in small and large quantities which she has done for four years. Her husband is a tailor. Abenawa uses her income to help her partner to pay utility bills.
Abenawa will use the loan to purchase a variety of fruit, like oranges, and bags of maize for resale. With the new profits from her expanded business, Abenawa plans to save to buy land.
