Sunday is a 35-year-old, married man, who has three children. He lives in Kasese, Uganda. He is a teacher and has been in service for 12 years. To supplement his meager salary he bought a motorcycle, which he rents to a rider. The rider pays 70% of the amount earned each day by using the motorcycle, to Sunday, as rent.
Sunday dreams of educating his children up to the University, and of venturing into modern farming since Uganda depends upon agriculture for its economy. Sunday is requesting a loan to buy land, for farming.
This loan provides farmers and low-income entrepreneurs from underserved rural areas with access to financial services. By supporting this loan, you allow more farmers and rural entrepreneurs to access capital.
