A loan of $675 helped to buy two computers and a hot dog cart.

Jose Gregorio's story

Jose is 34 years old and has a barber shop combined with an Internet café that generates income on its own. He serves customers daily from 6:00 am to 9:30 pm from the businesses he runs out of his home, located in a town very near Barranquilla. His customers are his neighbors and people from other areas who visit him and who have known his for six years.

His goal is to expand his business by adding a second floor that will allow him to separate his personal space from his work space. His business has grown little by little and now he has many more customers and he has extended his work hours.

He is asking for a loan through Fundación Mario Santo Domingo so that he can buy two computers for his Internet café, and a hot dog cart to expand and begin selling food. This will allow him to sell to his customers who also need to eat fast food and who have expressed an interest. He said that his Kiva loan will provide him a great potential for success.
