A loan of $1,025 helped to buy stock merchandise for her store.

Ana Luisa's story

Ana’s a responsible, hardworking, honest person living with her husband in a community in Choluteca in southern Honduras. She has a grocery store. She needs the loan to buy coffee, sugar, bread, beans, chicken, meat, rice, lard, packaged snacks, water, soft-drinks, cookies, milk, etc. She hopes sales in the store will increase thanks to the loan by having more products on hand to offer her customers and meet their needs. Ana wants to improve her and her family’s standard of living a bit. She hopes her business will grow in a few years and become a mini-supermarket and to continue supporting her family because they are of scarce economic resources.
