A loan of $400 helped to buy snacks at wholesale.

Carla's story

Carla, 38, is a very cheerful, dynamic, enterprising woman. She lives with Julio who is a moto taxi driver. She lives with him and their five minor children. They live in peace in her mother’s house.

Carla’s work consists in selling snacks at a Kindergarten’s entrance located near her house. She’s been in business five years and it’s very popular with the children that attend this kindergarten and by those that pass by the zone. She treats them kindly and cheerfully. One of her children helps her with customer service.

What she likes about her activity is that it allows her to earn income to pay her household expenses and gives her time to care for her children. She also comments that in the future she would like to have a store where she can sell easily and show all of her products so that she can have more income.

This will be her second MFP loan. She likes her group very much because she feels they are responsible and she’s grateful to the institution for the trust placed in her. She commits to being punctual with her payments and she hopes for your collaboration to make her plans reality.

She will use the 1,000 new sol loan to buy snacks in general at wholesale to better stock her business. She feels that with wider variety on hand her business will be better received and she’ll earn higher profit margins.
