A loan of $1,500 helped to run electricity for his mill.

Oscar Antonio's story

Oscar is 33 years old, married, and has three children. He works as a grain grinder and has done so for 10 years. Every day he gets up at 5:00 am to go to work, one kilometer from his home. Upon arrival he begins by sharpening his mill discs so that he can open from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. This is not his business, but he is paid for his work. At the same time, his wife tends to other customers in their home, where they have another diesel-powered mill.

He will use the money from this loan, through Fundación Campo, to run electricity into his home, so that the mill can work without diesel. He wants to build a brick home, as his current home is made of adobe and it leaks.
