Bindu's story

Bindu, 32, lives in the Congo Town community. She is married and a mother of three children, who are between the ages of 3 and 14 and attend school.

Bindu has been determined with her business for the past three years, She sells children's slippers and ladies' slippers. Bindu started with a little amount of 3,000 LD that she had been saving with a savings club. She learned to sell from her husband, and she sells twelve hours a day.

Bindu has commended the lenders for their support of her business; they have empowered her to improve her business. She makes a profit when she sells, and she uses the profit to buy more goods to increase her income. She has requested a loan to purchase more ladies' and children's slippers for the business. Her future plan is to give her children a high level of education and build a house.
