Los Claveles Group's story

Isabel Berenise is 23 years old. She is a member of the "Los Claveles" group. This group has seven members, who are all neighbours and who came together to make it easier to get a loan to help them sustain their business. That's because it was harder for them individually, since they didn't have anyone to support them.

One year ago, Isabel Berenise, who works alone selling "salchipapas"- french fries with hotdogs, began with few utensils and cooked food in the kitchen of her home. Little by little, with her work, she has been able to buy a mobile food cart, eating utensils, glasses, etc. for her business.

She will use the loan to invest in disposable plates, eating utensils, and tupperware, which she needs for her work.

In this group: Isabel Berenise, Gliceria, Rocio Del Pilar, Yolanda Isabel, Noemi, Maria Elena, Deybis Fernando
