A loan of $800 helped to buy organic fertilizer.

Cornelio's story

Cornelio, 65, is a responsible man. He lives with his wife, Lidia, with whom he raised and educated 10 children. Now he lives only with his wife in the home he bought 12 years ago.

His life centers on hard work because he had to contend with the responsibility of being a father since he turned 17. This is why he began to plant crops and produce his own income by growing beans, corn, wheat, and potatoes, which he sells in the city of Jauja on the weekend. He has productive land of his own, which he takes care of with his wife and, possibly, with with the help of some of his children, to whom he turns when he has no more energy. Now he hopes to improve his crops and take care of himself so he can continue planting, because this is what he enjoys so much.

This is his third loan with MFP. He's grateful for the economic support it offers him because this way he'll continue with the improvement projects for his business. He also promises to be punctual with his payments.

Cornelio will invest the money in buying organic fertilizer for his plantings because he's in the planting season.
