A loan of $600 helped to purchase wool of various colors.

Honorio's story

45-year-old Honorio is a hardworking man. He lives with his wife Hortensia and his two children, whom he loves very much and cares for in a house he inherited from his mother a year ago. Ever since he was young, he learned the family's craft, which is weaving fabrics made of alpaca and vicuña wool. He greatly enjoys weaving and working on his traditional craft machine. He has gotten years' worth of experience in craftwork, and his efforts and good taste helped him to build a regular clientele. He reports that the months with the highest sales are January through September. For that reason he wishes to keep on weaving in the upcoming months, and he needs wool. He hopes to be able to buy several kilograms of processed wool and therefore keep up the craft he loves. This is his second loan with MFP. He gives thanks for the financial support he has gotten, because that way he'll move forward with his plans for improving his business. He also pledges to make his repayments in a timely fashion.
Honorio will use the loan to purchase wool for weaving his textiles.
