A loan of $600 helped to buy bags of rice and sugar.

Feliza's story

Forty-five year old Feliza is an unassuming woman. She lives with her husband, Wilfredo and their two children, Henry and Noemi, and looks after them all in the house that she bought 25 years ago. For five years, she has had her food shop in the front part of her house, which is on the main square in her town. For five years, she has been selling all types of foodstuffs and this work helped her save money and pay many household bills. Now she would like to continue working as always. Her daughter is studying at university and Feliza would like to take advantage of the Christmas period so that she can sell all she can and make a good profit. This is her fifth loan with MFP and she is very grateful for the financial support they have given her as it will help her to continue with her plans to improve her business. She also promises to make her repayments on time. Feliza will use the loan to buy bags of rice and sugar for her food store.
