Uriat's story

Uriat is a 53-year-old widow and mother of four sons. She is a good, quiet person.

As her family's main income provider, Uriate has been working in animal husbandry since 1980. She started her business with 3,000 som. Thanks to persistent work, today she has two dairy cows and ten sheep on her farm. Additionally, Uriat cultivates 1.2 hectares of land with sainfoin and barley.

With long-term business development in mind, Uriat turned to Bai Tushum and Partners for a loan of 80,000 som to purchase lambs to feed and later resell. She plans to use the income from the loan to eventually increase the number of livestock on her farm and to renovate her home next year.
