A loan of $850 helped to buy packs of clothing.

Lucrecia De Los Angeles's story

Lucrecia is 50 years old and from Leon. She is a single mother of two adult children and is a hardworking, responsible woman with good customs and a desire to get ahead. She is originally from Leon, which is located in the western part of the country. [Lucrecia] sells second hand clothing and shoes. She’s been doing this from a special place in her home and needs this loan in order to stock her business by buying packs of good quality second hand clothing so that she can take advantage of the Christmas season. This is when her sales and incomes increase. The packs contain children’s clothing, t-shirts, pants, skirts, dresses, shirts, and pajamas. She appreciates the help the Kiva lenders give to those of limited resources in poor countries like Nicaragua, so that she can have sources of dignified work.
