Her economic activity is a ‘pulpería’ located at home. A pulpería is a store that sells food items in small amounts like packets of coffee, packets of shampoo, cigarettes by the unit, rice, sugar, oil, soap, eggs and milk. She’s had the store 8 years and has been responsible with her payments; she’s made them on time and as scheduled. The objective of the loan is to invest in working capital to stock the store with items of daily home consumption. Claudia Carolina is grateful for the support Kiva lenders offer people of scarce resources and to poor countries like Nicaragua so they can have a way to earn a living with dignity.

Una pulpería es un tienda que vende productos comestibles en cantidades pequeñas como sobre de café, sobre de shampoo, cigarros menudeados, arroz, azúcar, aceite, jabón, huevos, leche. Tiene 8 anos de tener el negocio. y ha demostrado su responsabilidad de pago en tiempo y forma. El objetivo del préstamo en invertir en capital de trabajo y surtir su pulpería con productos de consumo diaria para el hogar.
