Melissa Yeny's story

Melissa is a member of Qorichuspas Communal Bank in the city of Cusco, Peru. Melissa's married and has two children, the older one in school and the younger one a year-old baby. She makes a living selling general crafts, which she distributes in the main tourist markets in the city.

Melissa is requesting this loan to buy merchandise such as textiles, tapestries, and ceramic decorations. Part of it will pay for her daughter's education expenses.

Melissa's very grateful to Kiva for allowing her to get stronger in her business, which is her main income and the possibility of giving her children a better quality of life and an education.
