A loan of $250 helped to to repair his motorcycle.

Samuel's story

Samuel is a resident of Likoni, Kenya. He has three children and runs a motorcycle transport business in the area. This mode of transport is preferred by many who lack enough money for transport and also for movement within short distances in the area. He began the business two years ago and is also a farmer. He has three children, two of whom are in school.

Samuel was introduced to Milango by his friends and is applying for a loan of 21,100 Kenya shillings to repair his motorcycle.

Samuel will save the additional income obtained from this loan. The challenge with the current business is theft of bicycles and high cost of fuel and spares. He desires to own many more motorcycles as he has seen the returns in the business.
