A loan of $2,125 helped to purchase two cows.

Bubuya's story

Bubuya is 55 years old, a widow, and the mother of two children, the younger of which is a 15-year-old daughter studying in school.

As a main source of income, Bubuya has been engaged in raising animals since 1992, starting this business with 1,000 KGS. Through hard work, Bubuya today has in her homestead ten dairy cows with offspring, eight heads of bull, and five horses. Monthly income from the business is 25,000 Som from mile sales.

In order to further develop her business, Bubuya appealed to Bai-Tushum and Partners for a loan of 100,000 Som (KGS) to buy livestock. Bubuya plans to invest income from the loan to further increase her number of domestic animals in order to increase revenue from milk and to save enough money to repair her home.
