Ofelia is 49 years old and is married with six children. She runs a general store in the Philippines and requested a PHP 11,000 loan through NWTF to purchase additional stock to sell in her business, such as curls, bread, sardines and soft drinks.
Ofelia has borrowed and repaid two loans from NWTF before this loan. She has been running the general store for five years and also earns an income from farming sugarcane and rice.
Ofelia works hard to provide for her family, and she aspires to save enough to buy more farmland.
