A loan of $4,450 helped a member to buy more chickens to resell.

Nazareth Group's story

Tasiana, who is in her early 30s, is married with three children (two boys and a girl). Two of the children are in school and the remaining one is a baby. For the period of one year now, Tasiana has been running a fried chicken business. She works from 2 pm to 10 pm daily and she is able to make a fair profit per month.

She is requesting her second loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loan to repair her family house and to cover household expenses and she has paid back her loan successfully. She is requesting the loan to buy more chickens to resell to more customers. Her dream is to one day be able to improve her business to have a better life.

She will share this loan with her loan group "Nazareth", which totals 15 members who will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
