Luchadoras De Yanacoto Group's story

Greetings from Perú!!! With you is the “Luchadoras de Yanacoto” group (The Fighters of Yanacoto) the majority of the members are neighbors to the area. This is their second loan cycle and the group is made up of 8 responsible members. Soledad is the head of the group; it is an obligation that she takes with great responsibility. In the past, Soledad was a housekeeper and with that job she put to good use her earnings and bought a motorcycle taxi and now provides a transportation service. This job has allowed her to help support her husband with the household expenses and their children's education. Her biggest wish is to finish building her home and hopes to open a small grocery store which will generate more income. At present, she needs a loan to pay the tuition of her eldest daughter. Soledad is 31 years old, married and has 3 dependent children. The “Luchadoras de Yanacoto” are grateful to the Kiva lenders for your support in their progress.
