A loan of $1,525 helped a member to buy disposable dishes as well as chairs for serving her customers at her "salchipapas" stand.

Nuevo Amanecer Group's story

Julia is 55 years old and a member of the "Nuevo Amanecer" group, which is made up of five members. They are noted for their determination to succeed with their businesses and for being responsible when taking on the payment of loan installments.

Julia has been selling salchipapas (fast food made from hotdogs and potatoes) for more than five years. She started her business with a small stove where she prepared her fried dishes. Little by little, and by working with dedication and effort, she was able to buy a larger stove, and currently runs her business in a space set up in her home.

When she receives the loan, she will use it to buy chairs and some tables so that she can serve her customers in more comfort. In addition she has bought all kinds of disposable items that are necessary to serve her salchipapas, sandwiches and fried chicken.

In this group: Julia, Elizabeth Cristina, Arturo, Luz Angelica, Sarita Melchora
