A loan of $400 helped to buy manure, seeds and to prepare the soil.

Carlos Osmin's story

Carlos works in agriculture. He’s 48-years-old and lives with his 40-year-old wife. He has two teen-age children who are attending high-school. He works growing corn and selling bread in the morning. He learned the business with his family. He also grows corn on two manzanas [Central American unit of land measurement] of farmland Monday through Saturday. Carlos is looking for support from a loan to invest in his agricultural activities because he’s getting ready to plant and will buy manure, seeds and will prepare the soil. This will help him have a crop in good condition that will lead to a good harvest to sell. Carlos’ objective is to strengthen his crops more and with this will be offering better quality of life for his family because the harvest will be both for their food and to be sold.
