Virgen De La Puerta Group's story

Cordial Greetings from Peru.

This is the “Virgen De La Puerta” communal bank. It has 8 responsible, united members who are in their 8th cycle. At this time, you will meet Eileen, one of the members. She is the single mother os one daughter, who is her motivation for getting ahead. When she was very young, Eileen arrived at the capital with the purpose of having a better future with her daughter. She started with a business selling disposable items (cups, forks, knives, bags, etc.). Little by little, she has outfitted her business. Her spot is in a market with a lot of traffic. Thanks to her work and effort, she has been able to reach some of her goals, such as buying a plot of land and helping her daughter with her education. She asked for the loan to buy disposable items such as cups, forks, knives, and toys for children for the Christmas season. Her biggest wish is is to see her daughter have a good career. Eileen is grateful to the Kiva lenders for the help they have offered. Eileen is in the back, first from the right wearing a black short with black dots.
