Missimide 4 Group's story

The "MISSIMIDE 4" group is made up of five people who are friends and live in the same village. This is the first time that the group has requested financial support from ALIDe. Their goal is to improve their businesses. The group representative, Assanni, is pictured raising his hand in the photo. He is 52 and lives in Benin. He is married to Kounoumé, a merchant. The couple has ten children, some of whom are in school, eight of whom are under their care. They and their children share the family responsibilities. Assanni did not go to school. For 28 years he has worked as a farmer. In order to provide customer satisfaction, Assanni wants to buy supplies for cultivating peppers, corn, and cassava root. In order to do so, he and his fellow MISSIMIDE 4 group members are requesting the support of ALIDe.
