A loan of $400 helped to buy farm inputs to grow corn, tomato, and peppers.

Karim's story

Karim is 37 years old and is married to a merchant named Bihounton. They have six children, all still under their care. Some of the children have been to school. Karim has not been to school. Karim lives together with his children and his wife. The couple takes care of the household expenses together.

For the past ten years, Karim has been in the business of agriculture. He procures his supplies in an area of Benin. He does this job with passion, and this allows him to meet his and his children's needs.

In the quest for customer satisfaction and to see his business funds increase, Karim is asking for a third loan from Alidé [so he can] cultivate corn, tomato, and peppers. This loan will help him better respond to the needs of his customers and to earn more profits. His previous loans have all been repaid.
