Martha Isabel's story

Martha Isabel lives in the city of Masaya, also known as the City of Flowers. She’s 47-years-old and only lives with her children. She has a small grocery store at home that she started with her own capital two years ago. She also sells coconut sweets that she makes herself from coconut, sugar and food coloring that she sells in her city’s municipal market. Martha is looking for a way to optimize her income with her small businesses in order to improve her family’s standard of living. She makes her purchases to restock her grocery store in the Masaya municipal market. She is requesting a loan from Ceprodel to stock her store. She will buy Faisan brand rice, sugar, oil, firewood in bunches and by the piece, soft-drinks and snacks which have the highest customer demand; this is because of the season when sales improve and she needs to make this investment so she can provide better service.
