A loan of $400 helped to buy merchandise.

Paulina's story

At age 54, Paulina is known for being a woman of good character. She is married to Cadeón and together they have three children, Kevin, Andre, and Karina. They also have a solidly built home. She sells clothing and shoes and considers this to be a very profitable business, since this merchandise is not perishable and this makes it easier to recover her investment. Her highest demand items are nylon slippers because they are very practical in the fields and they have become a good source of income. She also sells men’s women’s, and children’s clothing.

She plans to double her normal year end order because this is when sales increase the most. In the future she wants to open a similar store is a more populated district so that her children can get a good education. She will use the 1,000 PEN to supplement her working capital and buy more merchandise, such as slippers, jeans, and other things.
