Gulsara's story

Gulsara is 53 years old and lives in the town of Jalal-Abad. She got married soon after graduating from high school, and is now a mother of five children. Together with her husband, Gulsara started raising livestock in 1992, launching the new business with an investments of 5,000 KGS. By gradually developing her business and increasing her working capital, Gulsara was able to expand her herd, and also to pay for her children's education.

She plans to used the entire amount to purchase 2 cows and 5 sheep for breeding and subsequent resale. In the future, Gulsara plans to build a large farm for raising large and small livestock. She plans to use her profits from this loan to buy a car for her husband.
