A loan of $500 helped to buy inputs to grow maize, niébé and peppers.

Félix's story

Félix, age 47, is married to Antoinette. The couple have ten children, some of whom go to school. In addition to their children, they have another child in their care. The family all live together, and Félix and his wife handle the various household responsibilities.

Félix did not attend school. He makes a living as a farmer and he has also been raising pigs for about 30 years. He buys his supplies in a region of Benin.

To bolster his activity and better meet customer demand, Félix wishes to buy inputs to grow maize, niébé (black-eyed peas) and peppers.

This is Félix’s sixth loan cycle with ALIDé. All past loans were repaid without incident
