A loan of $350 helped to buy coats, slippers, and scarves to sell.

Rebecca's story

Rebecca is a married woman with three children between the ages of 22 to 28. For the past four years, she has operated a store where she sells items such as coats, slippers, scarves, and other products. Rebecca's business is located in a residential area and her primary customers are local residents. She describes herself as honest. Rebecca's biggest business challenge is the high price of slippers, coats, and other merchandise.

Rebecca is requesting a 30,000 KES loan to buy coats, slippers, and scarves to sell. This will be her third loan with SMEP DTM and she has successfully repaid her previous loans. Rebecca's business goal is to run a boutique within five years. She hopes that, in the future, she will use her profits to improve her family's living standards
