Rukhsana's story

Rukhsana is 37 years old and married. She has seven children: three daughters and four sons. She is striving hard to meet their demands, including food, clothing, and healthcare. Her husband sells leather. His income is not sufficient to meet the daily expenditures of the family, so Rukhsana started her business to contribute to their income.

Rukhsana has been in the sewing business for many years. She is very familiar with stitching techniques. She initiated her business with the support of Kashf Foundation; she took her first loan to buy a sewing machine. At present, she enjoys a great client list and has gained a lot of appreciation and popularity in her community.

Rukhsana has requested a loan of PKR 20,000 to buy stocks of thread in different colors and packages of laces, zippers, and other supplies. With these items, she believes that she will to be able to meet the demands of her customers without fail. She hopes to grow her business and dreams of giving a high-quality education to her children through her hard work.
