Chakriya's Group's story

Chakriya is 41-year-old married mother of four children, all of whom are dependent on her and still in school. To make a living, she has farmed rice and raised pigs for 12 years. She can earn about 20,000 KHR per day and manage to save about 12,000 KHR each day after daily expenses.
Chakriya is a new borrower with Kiva’s partner, VisionFund while the other member has been with VisionFund for one cycle. Now she is leading her group of two to apply for a loan of 1,000,000 KHR each. She wants to use this loan to buy pig feed. She hopes to fatten her pigs to sell them for a good price in order to better of her standard of living.
