Saroeurn is 35 years old, widowed and lives with his three children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. He has been working as a teacher for more than ten years, earning approximately $5 daily. To earn additional income, he grows rice on the side. Due to a lack of funds, Saroeurn is requesting a loan of $600 to buy fertilizer and fuel to use on his farm. This purchase will help his crops grow well and provide a high yield. In the future, he would like to expand his farmland and send his children to a good school. He also hopes to build a new house as soon as possible.
