Len's story

Len. a 56-year-old married woman residing with her husband and five children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia, has been involved in growing rice and breeding pigs for more than 10 years, earning approximately $4 daily. Her husband (shown with her in the picture) helps her run the business. Two of her children are employed, earning about $9 per day.

In order to improve her family’s finances, Len is requesting a loan of $1000 to purchase cattle to breed in order to sell calves. In the future, she would like to establish a small poultry farm and help her children earn a bachelor’s degree. Moreover, she hopes to build a new house as soon as possible.
