A loan of $1,375 helped to buy seasonal clothing.

Karina's story

Karina is 22 years old and a single mother with lots of responsibility. Her two year old daughter, Angela is her great motivation and she dedicates all her effort for her. She currently lives in a rented adobe house.

Having found herself unemployed three years ago, she decided to go into business, giving her all, and this is how she helps herself financially. She sells clothing in a shop that she rents.

She opted for this business because she considers it to be cleaner, calmer, more organized, and because she has good taste in clothing for her customers. She also has a good variety of clothing for babies.

As the end of the year approaches, she wants to expand her variety of clothing for women and children, and include seasonal clothing.

She expects to have the same motivation that allows her to complete her goals to have large clothing store in her area. She knows that it’s possible to do it if she continues making a constant effort. It’s all so that she can provide her young daughter a better life and give her the things that she didn’t have as a child. She will use the 3,500 PEN to buy merchandise for her business; seasonal women and children’s clothing.
