A loan of $975 helped to buy bags of organic manure.

Eni's story

Eni is 50 years old and lives together with Daniel, with whom she has 2 children: Paúl and Katia. She takes care of and educates both children in her own home in the central Peruvian jungle. Her main business is farming. Since she was a child she counted on her ability to take care of the crops with care. Now her parents granted her almost an hectare and a half of land where coffee is farmed exclusively. "I invested the major part of my capital in the purchase of fertilizers and in the payment of personnel, but it was worth it, since each year I harvest good grains," she mentions. She already knows to whom to offer her products. These years no experience was in vain. With the help of her partner and other people who she hires she succeeds in maintaining her crops in good condition. The main difficulty that she has are the expenses for the university education of her children, to whom she has to send monthly pensions, since they study in other cities. Eni wants to acquire bags of organic fertilizer for her coffee crops, since she needs to see them grow healthily for the harvest months (May to July). She belongs to the communal bank "Los Milagros," and this is loan number 9 that she has with MFP. She is very grateful for all of the support that they offered her during all these years. Eni will invest the 2,500 soles in the purchase of bags of organic manure. Each one will cost her from 100 to 120 soles.
