A loan of $350 helped to buy assorted clothes.

Fernando Antonio's story

Fernando, 27, is originally from Managua but now lives in Granada; he’s married and is a merchant by profession. He has been working selling clothes for three years. He relates that his wife started working in a store and in time they realized that this was a very profitable business and that’s when they decided to open their own business with some savings they had.

He also has another source of income in that he occasionally works in a supermarket and contributes towards household expenses. His expectation is to increase his clothing merchandise to meet high customer demand. He’s requesting the loan to buy assorted clothes like pants, blouses, skirts and women’s purses because his future plan is to have a place in which they can establish their store. His future goal is to increase his store’s inventory.
