A loan of $1,000 helped to stock his store.

Ricardo Jose's story

Ricardo is 50 years old. His wife helps with the business, making and selling of birthday piñatas. They have three children, two of who are married and on their own. The third child is five years old and is a special needs child.

Ricardo sells used clothing along with having a small grocery shop so that he can cover the household expenses. He has been working with great sacrifice since he was very young, so that he could set up this business. He wants to invest into it by buying packs of clothing, basic grains, personal hygiene products, sausages, and cereals. He expects to be able to continue to expand his work with this injection of capital.
