A loan of $1,500 helped to purchase two milk cows.

Kalyiman's story

Kalyiman is 47 years old, married, and has 3 children. Since 1998, she has been working in animal husbandry, which is the main source of income of the family. She started this business with a sum of only 10,000 Kyrgyzstan Som (KGS.) Thanks to her persistent hard work, her farm now includes 4 dairy cows and brings in monthly earnings of 10,000 Som from the sale of milk and dairy products. For the purpose of developing her business, Kalyiman has approached Bai Tushum & Partners for a loan of 70,000 Som to buy 2 cows. She plans to use the income generated by this loan to further increase the number of livestock she has, and also to save up money to build a house.
