Chhavy is 43 years old. She is married and resides with five children in Kampong Speu Province, Cambodia. She has been working as a teacher for more than ten years, earning approximately $4 daily. Her husband is a village leader who earns about $4 per day. Two of her children are employed in a garment factory. They earn about $9 every day. In order to improve her family’s finances, Chhavy is requesting a loan of $1000 to purchase piglets and fodder for breeding. By doing so, she will earn extra income for the family. In the future, she would like to expand her piggery and help her children go to university. Moreover, she wants to rebuild her house to make it bigger and more comfortable for the family.
