Jamileth's story

Señora Jamileth is originally from the community of Las Tunitas in the Teustepe region. She is a businesswoman, the owner of a grocery store. She is married, and she is the mother of two children, ages 1 and 15. She began her business with savings that she had, and she strengthened her sales, investing in basic products for the business. Later, with her own effort and the help of her stepfather, who was helping her, she established her business in her home. She bought a freezer to keep her products fresh and display cases to exhibit her merchandise. In her business she has the support of her husband, who helps her with the administration of the grocery store.

Her expectation is to expand the merchandise for her business more, with the goal of increasing her sales. She needs the loan to purchase products such as sugar, rice, soap, toothpaste, toilet paper, etc. She thinks that this loan will help her because she will be able to stock her grocery store with the products most requested by her customers. Her future plan is to build a house for her children. Her goal is to continue working in her business, obtain more earnings, pay off the loan, and be able to advance with her family.
