A loan of $1,025 helped buy agricultural chemicals and pay for labor.

Juan's story

Mr. Juan is 26 years old; he lives and rents his sister’s home (Isabel) in the Candua area. His main work is in growing and selling beans and sesame crops. He works on rented land and the parcels are located in the community of San Miguel de las Pampas, some 15 km. from the city of Monteagudo. Juan is single, lives and works by himself and is the reason why he works so arduously, to cover the costs of renting his home, buying food and clothing as well as other expenses, he also works to pay for the land he rents where he grows his beans and sesame. Juan needs a loan to buy agricultural chemicals and pay for labor to fumigate the land since the parcels have grass due to a lot of rain that has hit the area.
