A loan of $1,025 helped to buy a balanced diet for her pigs.

Reinalda's story

Mrs. Reinalda is 35 years old, lives with her husband, and they have three children that depend on them. One is enrolled in first grade at the school in the Community, another child is 4 years old, and the youngest is still a baby. She and her husband make a living by raising pigs and growing corn, but Mrs. Reinalda’s daily life is sacrificed because she has to care for her children and do household chores. Her income is not sufficient to provide a good life for her family, so she made the decision to ask for a loan to invest in the purchase of supplies to prepare a balanced diet for the pigs and thus save a little on expenses since this is her principal activity. In this way she will have a little more income, which will allow her to improve her family’s quality of life.
