A loan of $175 helped to buy clothing, shoes, glue, socks, and other general merchandise.

Ivan Jose's story

Iván, 33, is married and the father of two children, ages 2 and 12. He finished the third year of secondary school and works as a merchant. Previously he worked in a cement company, but he left when he had an accident. Then he decided to go to work with his brother.

Currently he tends a mini-grocery store where he sells a variety of merchandise such as pens, glue, notebooks, clothing, socks, etc. He sells as a street vendor. He would like to sell his products in other cities. His expectations are to expand his business to increase sales and generate more income.

Iván is requesting the loan to buy general merchandise such as clothing, shoes, glue, socks, etc. He thinks that buying these products will be a big help because he'll be able to supply his business with the products his customers request most.

His future plans are to pay back this loan and request another one to continue investing in his business.
