Beglar's story

Beglar is from the Keda district of West Georgia. He is fifty years old, and lives with his three children and daughter-in-law. The family earns their living through an agricultural business. More specifically, the family owns a plot of land where different kinds of vegetables and fruits are grown. Additionally, they have a cow whose milk is used in cheese production. Beglar and his family do all of the relevant agricultural work to ensure a good harvest. The harvested products are then sold at the local open market. Beglar is a very hard-working man with a lot of experience in this work. Beglar has requested a loan to purchase beehives with bee colonies. This will enable him to produce ecologically clean honey that he can then sell at the local open market. This investment will increase his family's income. With increased income they will improve their living conditions.
