A loan of $600 helped to pay for recyclable materials and scrap needed in her business.

Melanie's story

This is Melanie. She previously accessed a 22,000 PHP loan that she used to purchase scrap materials needed in her business. Her earnings were a big help for the education of her children and in her personal, household and business expenditures. She would like to apply for another 24,000 PHP loan. She will be incorporating the loan into her current revolving fund used to buy scrap and recyclable materials. Her profits from the business will definitely help her to sustain her daily needs and the educational expenses of her children. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart. Melanie dreams to be able to give her children a good and high quality education and hopes to buy a truck through all of her hard work on her business. She also hopes to have her own car. She faithfully meets up with her co-fellowship members to share stories of her work every week. * All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay micro finance loans.
