Normadia's story

Normadia is 50 years old and married with six children. She works hard to provide for her family.

She runs a business of buying and selling nipa (woven palm mats used for house repair and construction) in the Philippines. She has requested a loan of 30,000 Philippine pesos through Negro Women for Tomorrow Foundation (NWTF) to buy more stock to sell.

Normadia has borrowed and paid 15 loans through NWTF. She has been buying and selling nipa for 20 years and also earns an income from food vending. She aspires to saving enough money to afford to send her children to college.
