Manos Unidas De Amadeo Repeto Group's story

A group of neighbors and friends formed a village bank "Manos Unidas de Amadeo Repeto" in the city of Cusco. The village bank is made up of men and women who are workers and entrepreneurs looking for opportunities to succeed and, with their daily efforts, create a better life for their children. Examples of the work of the members are for example: dressmaking, selling groceries, selling food, and professionals in the areas of health and archeology.

Charo is a member of the village bank. She is 37 years old, married and together with her husband she has three children. Charo told us she is proudly raising her children with the help of her partner. Charo is a nurse by profession, but she works with a group of colleagues on health projects. With this opportunity, Charo requires a loan to buy writing materials like paper, pencils, ink, notebooks and other materials.

The members have appreciated the opportunity and have agreed to comply with the payment of their fees in due time.
